Bromham Road boo-boo as warning sign is fenced in

Bromham Road Sign

A new private fence on Bromham Road has caused a bit of a stir this week after it was put up around a roadside warning sign.

The sign warning motorists of a cycle route ahead was obscured by the new fence along Bromham Road (A4280) opposite the entrance to Windmill Hill.

One motorist we spoke to said “It’s absurd that whoever put the fence up didn’t think to put it behind the sign.”

The council have said they’ve spoken with the fence owners who are arranging for it to be moved imminently.
