Bromham Mill and Bedford Film Festival deliver some Christmas cinema cheer

Bromham Mill Trust and Bedford Film Festival will bring some Christmas cinema cheer to Bromham with a special screening of family film ‘Elf’ on 8 December.

The film, staring Will Ferrell, Zooey Deschanel, James Caan, Mary Steenburgen and Peter Dinklage has been a must-see at Christmas time for audiences young and old since its release in 2003.

Will Ferrell plays a human raised by elves who, after inadvertently wreaking havoc on the elf community due to his ungainly size, he leaves the North Pole for New York in search of his true identity.

Tickets for the film are £5 for children but free for parents and guardians and include access to the annual Bromham Mill Winter Walk.

Sian Woodfine, Chairman or Bromham Parish Council, said the film is part of an ongoing series of films at the Bromham Mill: “Bromham Mill Trust are working to promote Bromham Mill as a go to destination and delighted to be working with Bedford Film Festival to bring film regularly to the site. All proceeds are for the upkeep, maintenance of this historic building , and to help invest in other community events in the future”

The film will be screened on 8th December 2018 above the cafe and starts at 5:30pm. You can get tickets from the Bromham Mill Cafe.
