On Saturday 7th October, Bedford Athletic Stadium plays host to some of the best white collar boxers in the UK, and two boxers will come away celebrating with an almighty purse.
The final Arena of Champions is the finale of a year-long battle for the 60kg and 85kg boxers, who have already come through two events to reach the final stage.
Battling it out in the 60kg category for a £10,000 winner’s cheque is Jay Mali who has an unbeaten record against the experienced Josh Campbell who has a career of over 30 fights under his belt.
The 85kg heavy hitters will be boxing for a £5,000 grand prize.
The bout is between Bedford’s own Niklay Mandinga who faces off against Kacper Ozog; two fighters with completely opposite styles which could add to the drama.
There is a stacked undercard for the evening which is filled with title fights and Bedford based boxers, a fully stocked bar and three food trucks meaning punters will not be left hungry.
Featuring La Carrozza who will provide the pizza, Eight on Wheels with loaded Fries and chicken wings and back by popular demand The Jerk Chicken Man, the event is sure to be a big success and another boost to Bedford’s thriving boxing scene.
