Bedfordshire Archives has created a series of introductory videos to help those accessing their records online and who want to add their own ‘Community Histories’ pages to the archive.
This project, put together by staff and volunteers, provides hundreds of web pages packed with information on the history over 180 Bedfordshire towns, villages, and hamlets.
Information ranges from general introductory accounts to histories of individual buildings and people.
To make it even easier a series of videos about accessing and making the most of the archives, as well as compiling your own pages, have also been published on their Facebook page.
- Community Histories: Find out more and advice on compiling a page for the website
- Tips and tricks to get the most out of our online catalogue
- Reveal stories from the archives with these Local History sources
