Bedford teenager charged as stabbing victim remains in critical condition

A teenager, who was arrested yesterday (23 August) in connection with a stabbing in the Queens Park area of Bedford has now been charged.

He was charged earlier today with grievous bodily harm (GBH), wounding with intent, and possession of an offensive weapon.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been remanded in custody ahead and will appear in court on Monday (26 August).

The stabbing happened on Thursday evening (22 August) at around 5.20pm.

The victim, another 17-year-old boy, was airlifted hospital and remains in a critical condition.
