Global recognition

Education Advisers produces the league tables annually, collecting results from internationally recognised independent schools worldwide that teach in English.

The tables are divided into large- and small-cohort categories across global, European, and UK regions.

BGS earned its second-place ranking in the global small cohort category, highlighting what they say is “the rigour and credibility of its educational methodology”.

The school focuses heavily on wider skills beyond traditional GCSEs and A Levels, ensuring pupils can communicate effectively, work independently, and develop creative solutions.

Ambition and commitment

BGS headmistress Gemma Gibson said: “We are incredibly proud of the ambition, commitment and achievements of our IB students.

“This recognition reflects their hard work, as well as the expertise and dedication of our teachers. It is wonderful to see the success of our IB community recognised on the international stage.”

You can view the full global league table via the official IB-Schools website.
