Bedford High Street will be closed today (22 June) until early evening due to a large water leak.
Anglian Water is dealing with the leak which is at the junction of High Street and Dame Alice Street, Bedford.
Bedford Borough Council has confirmed that the High Street, Bedford will be closed until early evening to allow these necessary repairs.
Drivers are advised to use alternative routes to reach the south of the town.
