Bedford Blues have named their 23-man squad to take on near neighbours Ampthill in the Greene King IPA Championship today.

The first league meeting between the two teams sees Goldington Road sold out as Bedfordshire rugby fans come together in what is sure to be an enthralling encounter.

With Ampthill having won both Championship Cup clashes between the two teams this season as well as the ‘friendly’ encounter that took place on Boxing Day last year, the Blues will be looking to make a statement when Ampthill arrive on Thursday afternoon.
