The popular Bedford Antiques, Decorative & Art Fair returns for its fourth exhibition, as father-and-daughter team Rodney and Nicola Weeks build an exciting future for Gemcap Events.
The popular two-day event takes place at King’s House, 245 Ampthill Road, Bedford MK42 9AZ, on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3 October 2026, from 10am to 4pm each day. Admission £4 which entitles entry for both days.
Visitors can browse and buy from up to 50 exhibitors, offering an exciting mix of antiques, decorative pieces, fine art and vintage treasures.
The fair has quickly earned a reputation for quality, variety, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, attracting collectors, dealers, interior designers, and visitors looking for something special and unique.
Located just minutes from the A6 junction of the A421, King’s House is easily accessible, with clear AA signposting, free parking for more than 200 vehicles and an on-site coffee shop offering hot and cold food and refreshments throughout the day.
Gemcap Events continues to grow
The Bedford fair is part of an exciting period of expansion for Gemcap Events, with the team now taking its successful format to new locations.
The 1st Stamford Antiques, Decorative & Art Fair will take place on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October 2026 at Stamford School, St Paul’s Street, Stamford, PE9 2BQ.
Then, in February 2027, Gemcap Events will bring back a much-loved name in the antiques calendar with the 85th Luton Antiques, Decorative & Art Fair, taking place at the stunning Putteridgebury House on 27 and 28 February 2027.
The Luton fair has a particularly special place in the Weeks family story. Rodney and his late wife, Sandra, formerly ran it, and now Rodney and Nicola are bringing the event back under the Gemcap Events banner.
With its remarkable history, loyal following and spectacular country-house setting, the team is looking forward to breathing new life into this established event and giving it an exciting new chapter.
A warm welcome awaits

Rodney and Nicola, together with their dedicated team, are passionate about creating fairs that are accessible, enjoyable and welcoming to everyone.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support our fairs have received and are excited to continue growing,” said Rodney and Nicola.
“Whether you’re a seasoned collector, a trade buyer, an interior designer or simply someone who enjoys discovering unique and beautiful items, we look forward to welcoming you to Bedford and to our future events.”
