Proud parents and local schools have gathered to celebrate the achievements of over 200 young people from across Bedford and Kempston.
The third annual Excellence Evening, hosted by Chiltern Learning Trust, took place last Thursday (24 September).

The community event, held at Kings House, was organised to recognise the hard work of pupils from across the local area.
Pupils from Daubeney Academy, Kempston Academy, Springfield Primary School, Marston Vale Middle School and Wootton Primary School all received awards.
Special guests
Every child who collected an award received a certificate, a stationery pack and a book related to their nomination.
The evening also featured performances from local solo singers, dancers and musical theatre students.
Keynote speeches were delivered by special guests including the lord-lieutenant of Bedfordshire, the deputy lord-lieutenant, and former professional footballer Leon Barnett.
British voice actress Lizzie Waterworth also spoke to the children about the importance of education, aiming high and believing in yourself.
Community support
Adrian Rogers, chief executive of Chiltern Learning Trust, opened the event, saying it was a privilege to witness the success of local students.
Daubeney Academy headteacher Christopher Carter, alongside Neil Mills from the trust, thanked local parents and carers for the support they give their children.
The awards night was generously sponsored by local businesses, including The Connolly Foundation, BMW Group 1, The Avenue Group, ASHE Group and NEXTGEN.
