Be prepared for bin collection changes in Bedford Borough over Christmas

Bedford Borough Council Bins

Bedford Borough Council are reminding Bedfordians to make sure the check for changes to bin collection times over Christmas and New Year.

With bin collections not happening on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day, collections will be slightly different but will return to normal on 14 January.

Every wheelie bin across Bedford Borough has recently had a tag attached to it with the festive period changes and the 2019 collection calendar for next year.

Cllr Charles Royden, Portfolio Holder for Environment and Transport said: “These changes mean we won’t be disturbing residents over the festive bank holidays, but we apologise for any inconvenience these changes may cause.”
