Guest Editor

Guest editors will take over a section of the Bedford Independent for two months at a time and, despite having a guiding hand from our editorial team, will have full control of the articles they write. This ongoing collaborative project aims to give a platform to Bedford residents from communities throughout the Borough, to share their experiences and viewpoints through the written word, video, photography and/or other media to tell their stories. Part of our editorial mission is to represent the diversity of our Borough. Through the guest editor project, we’re not just shining a spotlight on different communities, but inviting them to set the agenda and raise issues that are important to them. If you are interested in the role, please email news@bedfordindependent.co.uk with ‘guest editor’ in the subject field.
