A planning application submitted to Bedford Borough Council seeks to amend several conditions tied to a major housing development north of Bromham Road in Biddenham.
The applicants are applying to make changes to planning conditions set when planning was approved in October 2022 for 296 new homes.

In a cover letter, the applicants said these changes principally relate to plot substitutions and garage reconfigurations, which are considered by the applicant to improve the “buildability” of certain plots and to “better align with market demand and sales performance”.
Also, if approved, the total number of homes would drop to 295.
The site forms “Phase 3” of a wider development area, which was granted outline planning permission in 2014.
More information can be found on the council’s planning portal, reference 25/01094/M73.
The overall consultation expiry date is Wednesday 9 July 2025.
